4. Overall strategy — How will I pursue this life?
Purpose gives direction. Our daily choices and actions determine how we pursue it.
The Thirukkural offers teachings we can bring together into four practical disciplines:
1. Learn and practise.
Develop understanding—and let your conduct reflect it. Learning becomes meaningful when it changes how you act.
2. Judge before committing.
Consider consequences, your capabilities, available support and the demands of the situation. Examine the path to completion, including its obstacles.
3. Execute with persistence.
Turn intention into sustained work. Meet difficulty with informed effort, and learn from people who understand the task deeply.
4. Preserve ethical means.
Even a compelling responsibility does not justify wrongdoing. How you achieve your goal remains part of its worth.
At Aravor, we see this as a practical approach to personal growth:
Learn deeply. Choose thoughtfully. Act steadily. Uphold your values.

Develop understanding, choose worthy aims, assess circumstances carefully, and sustain ethical action with the support of trustworthy people.
